ANGLESEY STAMPS

The first issue of 'local' stamps from the Isle of Anglesey, issued on 1st February 2015, features some of its lighthouses. The entire rural coastline of Anglesey is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, but sections of its 200-kilometre coast are notorious for shipping, hence the need for lighthouses.

Future issues of these Cinderella local issue stamps/carriage labels will be issued on a quarterly basis featuring scenes and flora and fauna found on the island.

The latest stamps to be produced by Anglesey Stamps are a set of four World War II aeroplanes for the Isle of Anglesey, depicting images of a Spitfire, Lancaster Bomber, Blenheim and Hawker Hurricane. This set was issued on the 20th March 2016.

Order Aeroplane stamps.

A new First Day Cover was also been produced for Puffin Island, issued on the 20th March 2016. Order First Day Covers.
